Trinity Catholic Primary acknowledges parents and carers as each student’s most influential, primary and essential educators.

We encourage parents to be actively involved in school life and work with us to ensure the best educational outcomes for your child.

Parents are also actively encouraged to attend school events such as sports carnivals, exhibitions and performance evenings.

Parents as Partners - Trinity Catholic Primary Kemps Creek
How Can I Contribute?

At Trinity, we recognise the gifts of our parents by involving them in valuable, meaningful and worthwhile activities in the life of our school.

The ‘Mamre Team’ is our parents and guardians group. We meet once each term to share learning, share school information, and invite your involvement in school issues and fundraising. We welcome parent/caregiver consultation, advice and discernment in decision making at our school, and this is a key forum to allow us to work in partnership.

There are many ways that parents can assist in learning groups including:

  • assisting children with their writing
  • reading to children
  • helping with developmental play in the infants
  • helping children with art and craft activities
  • participating in gross motor and sporting activities.

We keep our families connected with social media, and the SeeSaw and Compass apps that allow us to deliver updates and important messages direct to your mobile phone.

Show your children that volunteering is a good thing.

VOLUNTEER AND CONTRACTOR TRAINING

We welcome the contribution volunteers make to the life of our school.

As part of our commitment to keeping students safe, all volunteers in schools are required to complete the building child safe communities undertaking form and child protection training module before volunteering. These checks reduce potential risk and forms part of our strategy to build child safe communities.
