On Monday 5th November, 2018 Trinity welcomed over 200 Japanese High School students to our community.

We began the day with a welcome and our National Anthem. The students were invited to taste traditional Aussie treats like lamingtons, tim tams, vegemite and milo. Class activities included thong throwing, indigenous art, Aussie stories, making a milo and cricket. We enjoyed sheep shearing and whip cracking along with a sausage sizzle. The day concluded with a super rendition of "Home among the Gumtrees". A huge pat on the back to the many volunteers that made today possible.

🌺Remembrance Day Liturgy 🌺 Today, our school community gathered together in a spirit of respect and gratitude for our Remembrance Day Liturgy. Through prayer, reflection, and song, we honoured the courage and sacrifice of those who have served—and continue to serve—our country in times of war, conflict, and peacekeeping. Students and staff joined in moments of silence to remember the fallen, to pray for peace, and to commit ourselves to building a more compassionate world. Special thanks to our Year 5 students & teachers for leading the liturgy with such reverence and care, and to everyone who contributed music, readings, or artwork that helped make this ceremony so meaningful. “They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old...” — Laurence Binyon, “For the Fallen” # Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese #LestWeForget #remembranceday
