On Monday 5th November, 2018 Trinity welcomed over 200 Japanese High School students to our community.

We began the day with a welcome and our National Anthem. The students were invited to taste traditional Aussie treats like lamingtons, tim tams, vegemite and milo. Class activities included thong throwing, indigenous art, Aussie stories, making a milo and cricket. We enjoyed sheep shearing and whip cracking along with a sausage sizzle. The day concluded with a super rendition of "Home among the Gumtrees". A huge pat on the back to the many volunteers that made today possible.

✝️Ash Wednesday✝️ Today, we celebrated Ash Wednesday, the beginning of Lent. Lent is a special time when we prepare our hearts for Easter by becoming closer to God. This year is also a Year of Jubilee—a time to remember God’s love for everyone, to say sorry for things we’ve done wrong, and to start fresh.
