⛏️⛏️ Year 4 recently went on an excursion where they stepped back in time at The Big Dig, becoming real dirt detectives as they explored the lives of convicts who lived on the site 200 years ago. They walked the historic laneways of The Rocks, uncovered artefacts and tried their hand at archaeology, making powerful connections to the past through hands‑on discovery ⛏️⛏️

🧡💚 A message for our community 🧡💚 Our social media pages help us share the everyday joy, curiosity and creativity that fill our school. As the online world continues to evolve, we are taking thoughtful steps to ensure the way we share these moments reflects current guidance from the eSafety Commissioner and keeps student wellbeing at the centre. You will still see stories from classrooms, celebrations, learning experiences, sports, liturgies and all the things that make our community vibrant. What may look a little different is how we capture and present these moments. We’re being more selective about the types of images we post and more careful about how identifiable individual students are. Our goal hasn’t changed - we want families to feel connected to the life of the school and proud of what their children are part of. We’re simply adapting our approach so that our online presence remains safe, respectful and future‑focused. Thank you for your understanding and support as we navigate these changes. We remain committed to celebrating our vibrant school community while keeping student safety at the heart of everything we do.

What a joyful Book Week parade! Our Symphony of Stories 2026 theme filled the hall with colour, characters, and creativity. Last week our Year 6 students returned from their camp with big smiles and memories they will carry with them for years to come. Over two days they challenged themselves with fun, team‑building activities, worked together to solve problems and encouraged one another. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the dedicated staff members who attended the camp and spent time away from their own families to support our students. Your care, energy, and commitment make experiences like this possible, and our community is deeply grateful. What a wonderful way for Year 6 to grow, learn, and shine together 💙

Congratulations to the following students who achieved fantastic results at the Zone Athletics Carnival: Billy D – 3rd Boys Junior 800m, 4th 9 years 100m and 4th Jnr 200m Geordan A – 2nd Boys 11 Years 800m Romeo A – 1st Boys 9 Years 100m Evie A – 2nd Girls Junior Long Jump Miracle E – 1st Girls 11 Years 100m, 1st 200m, 1st Discus with a new Zone record, and 1st Shot Put. Miracle was also named 11 Years Girls Age Champion! We wish all our Diocesan representatives the very best as they take on the next level of competition.

The students had gone home… and the kangaroos arrived! 🦘 A mob of our regular visitors were spotted enjoying the peace and quiet on the oval in the afternoon - grazing, relaxing and generally making themselves at home. 🌿 It’s not every school that can boast kangaroos as regular playground visitors! Our kangaroos have certainly become a special part of our school community. 🦘💚

Yesterday Year 6 traveled to Holy Family Emerton for the Voice of Youth Cluster Final. Jude and Dominic did an amazing job presenting their speeches and representing Trinity with pride. Congratulations to Dominic who won the Cluster Final and will be representing the St Clair Cluster at the Western Division Final in Week 9.

This week we farewelled Mrs Rowley who has been a part of our Trinity community for over 16 years. Mrs Rowley has helped countless children discover their own gifts and believe in themselves. She has inspired people through integrity, generosity and compassion and modelling what it means to live the Gospel every day. We know that these gifts that have enriched our school will continue to bless a new community and new people.
