MRS HEY'S FAREWELL Last Friday we farewelled our wonderful Principal Mrs Hey. We celebrated Mrs Hey with a meaningful thanksgiving mass followed by a morning Tea Picnic. Over the past 9 Years Mrs Hey's active involvement and contribution to Trinity has been above and beyond. 2025 MacKillop Athletics Results - Parramatta Team On Wednesday Trinity had 5 Students compete in the Mackillop Athletic carnival at Homebush. Congratulations to all students who showed great sportsmanship and talent. Special mention goes out to Miracle, Praise and Temidire who placed in the following events. Miracle - 1st place - 10yr girls 100m, 1st place Junior Girls 200m, 1st place discus, 2nd place shotput Praise - 2nd Place senior boys Discus Temidire - 2nd Place 8yr Boys 100m Congratulations to Miracle, Praise & Temidire who qualified for the MacKillop Team to compete at the NSWPSSA Championships @ Homebush in October. Trinity Handball Tournament On Monday the handball tournament final was held. Teachers versed each other, after many rounds saw Miss Ras & Mr Richmond in the grand final. Both showed amazing skills and sportsmanship. Mr Richmond came away as the Winner. Students were awarded their medals, congratulations to all our winners on a wonderful tournament. Week 8 wrap up! What a wonderful and busy week we've had! Students have been working so hard and showing such great effort across all areas of their learning—we’re so proud of them! 📝 In writing, students have been building their confidence by planning and creating thoughtful pieces. ✝️ In religion, students spent time attending private Reconciliation with Father Peter. Students also reflected on their scripture through artworks. ➕ In Math, the focus was on mass. Students have been practicing their skills with hands-on activities and games. They're showing fantastic progress! 😀 Happy Hour- Student enjoyed the sunshine with Mr Crawford as they shared all their hard learning. 💛 For R U OK? Day, we took time to talk about looking out for one another and the importance of checking in with our friends and loved ones. The students showed great maturity and care as they reflected on how we can support each other with kindness and listening ears. 🏉 In sport, we had lots of fun playing touch football! Father's Day Celebrations This morning our school community came together to celebrate Father’s Day with a heart-warming event. The day started with a delicious BBQ breakfast, where fathers, grandfathers, and father figures enjoyed good food and great company. It was a joyful time filled with laughter, conversations, and the simple pleasure of sharing a meal together. Following breakfast, everyone gathered in the hall for a beautiful liturgy. The liturgy was a meaningful moment to reflect on the important role fathers play in our lives. Students and staff participated with heartfelt prayers and songs, creating a warm and respectful atmosphere. The Father’s Day celebration was a wonderful opportunity to honour and appreciate the dads in our school community. Prayer of Thanksgiving for Gregory B. Whitby AM KSG We are deeply saddened by the passing of Greg Whitby AM KSG, former Executive Director of Catholic Schools in the Diocese of Parramatta. Greg was Executive Director from 2006 to 2022 and he led with dedication to the young people of schools in the diocese. Greg was also a former Principal of Emmaus Catholic College Kemps Creek. His legacy of leadership, advocacy, and inspiration lives on in the countless educators and students he impacted. We give thanks for Greg’s remarkable life and service. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones during this difficult time. Eternal rest grant unto Greg, O Lord. May perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. 🕊️

Nepean Zone Athletics Carnival Last Wednesday 42 students represented Trinity at the Nepean Zone athletics carnival at Blacktown international Sports park. Although The Nepean Zone Athletics Carnival was held on a cold and rainy day, our students showed great determination and good sportsmanship.
