Catholic Schools Week is a celebration that brings together Catholic school communities across New South Wales, held 8-14 March 2015.
It is a wonderful opportunity for schools to celebrate what happens every day in our Catholic schools and in the Diocese of Parramatta, schools will be opening their doors to showcase learning and teaching at its best with a range of activities and events planned for students and parents during the week. You will be able to join in celebration as we share photos and news from our schools via our website and social media channels.
The theme for Catholic Schools Week 2015 is ‘Educating for today and tomorrow’. This theme ties in with the
50th anniversary of Gravissimum Educationis, a document of the Second Vatican Council that was created by the Synod Fathers in 1965. The document recognised the continuing need for the Church to support parents in the education of their children so that they might be better equipped to participate professionally in the social, political and economic life of their communities well into the future.
Catholic students across NSW also have the opportunity to share in $5,000 of prizes by entering a 30 second video in the Catholic Schools Week competition. Students are encouraged to think creatively about what Catholic schools of tomorrow will look like and enter the competition online. More details are available on the Catholic schools website.

Congratulations to the following students who achieved fantastic results at the Zone Athletics Carnival: Billy D – 3rd Boys Junior 800m, 4th 9 years 100m and 4th Jnr 200m Geordan A – 2nd Boys 11 Years 800m Romeo A – 1st Boys 9 Years 100m Evie A – 2nd Girls Junior Long Jump Miracle E – 1st Girls 11 Years 100m, 1st 200m, 1st Discus with a new Zone record, and 1st Shot Put. Miracle was also named 11 Years Girls Age Champion! We wish all our Diocesan representatives the very best as they take on the next level of competition.

The students had gone home… and the kangaroos arrived! 🦘 A mob of our regular visitors were spotted enjoying the peace and quiet on the oval in the afternoon - grazing, relaxing and generally making themselves at home. 🌿 It’s not every school that can boast kangaroos as regular playground visitors! Our kangaroos have certainly become a special part of our school community. 🦘💚

Yesterday Year 6 traveled to Holy Family Emerton for the Voice of Youth Cluster Final. Jude and Dominic did an amazing job presenting their speeches and representing Trinity with pride. Congratulations to Dominic who won the Cluster Final and will be representing the St Clair Cluster at the Western Division Final in Week 9.

This week we farewelled Mrs Rowley who has been a part of our Trinity community for over 16 years. Mrs Rowley has helped countless children discover their own gifts and believe in themselves. She has inspired people through integrity, generosity and compassion and modelling what it means to live the Gospel every day. We know that these gifts that have enriched our school will continue to bless a new community and new people. May God bless you as you continue your journey, and may the light of Christ always guide your path, just as your light has guided so many of ours.

Last Friday we celebrated Grandparent's Day alongside the Feast Day of St Anne and Joachim, the Grandparents of Jesus. Our liturgy focussed on the theme "When you thought I wasn't looking." We remembered the love our Grandparents often show in small and simple ways. As we gave thanks for our Grandparents and celebrated the faith, kindness, and wisdom they share through their everyday example. We loved celebrating the day with our Grandparents!

✨ Celebrating Trinity Feast Day ✨ Our school community gathered today to celebrate the Feast of the Holy Trinity with a special Mass and day of celebration. The Feast of the Holy Trinity reminds us of the three persons of God — the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit — united as one in love, faith, and community. It is a powerful reminder of the importance of compassion, connection, and living out our faith in our everyday actions. 🏅 Congratulations to our Trinity Award recipients! These students were recognised for embodying the values of our school and the spirit of the Holy Trinity through their leadership, respect, service, and care for others. We are very proud of the way they contribute positively to our community and inspire those around them. 💃🕺 The celebrations continued with our much-anticipated School Disco, where students enjoyed an afternoon filled with music, dancing, laughter, and friendship. It was wonderful to see so much joy and community spirit as students came together to celebrate this special occasion.
