Catholic Schools Week is a celebration that brings together Catholic school communities across New South Wales, held 8-14 March 2015.
It is a wonderful opportunity for schools to celebrate what happens every day in our Catholic schools and in the Diocese of Parramatta, schools will be opening their doors to showcase learning and teaching at its best with a range of activities and events planned for students and parents during the week. You will be able to join in celebration as we share photos and news from our schools via our website and social media channels.
The theme for Catholic Schools Week 2015 is ‘Educating for today and tomorrow’. This theme ties in with the
50th anniversary of Gravissimum Educationis, a document of the Second Vatican Council that was created by the Synod Fathers in 1965. The document recognised the continuing need for the Church to support parents in the education of their children so that they might be better equipped to participate professionally in the social, political and economic life of their communities well into the future.
Catholic students across NSW also have the opportunity to share in $5,000 of prizes by entering a 30 second video in the Catholic Schools Week competition. Students are encouraged to think creatively about what Catholic schools of tomorrow will look like and enter the competition online. More details are available on the Catholic schools website.

School Leaders Reception Last Thursday, our School Captains proudly represented Trinity at a special function hosted by Penrith City Council to celebrate our City's primary school leaders for 2026. This annual Council Reception brings together primary school leaders from across the Penrith area to honour and celebrate the young people who will help shape the future of our community. Isaac and Katia demonstrated exactly why our school is such a wonderful community. They were invited on stage at the Evans Theatre, met the Mayor, and received certificates recognising their leadership and contribution to our school. Well done, Isaac and Katia. ✨ Celebrating Trinity Feast Day ✨ Our school community gathered today to celebrate the Feast of the Holy Trinity with a special Mass and day of celebration. The Feast of the Holy Trinity reminds us of the three persons of God — the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit — united as one in love, faith, and community. It is a powerful reminder of the importance of compassion, connection, and living out our faith in our everyday actions. 🏅 Congratulations to our Trinity Award recipients! These students were recognised for embodying the values of our school and the spirit of the Holy Trinity through their leadership, respect, service, and care for others. We are very proud of the way they contribute positively to our community and inspire those around them. 💃🕺 The celebrations continued with our much-anticipated School Disco, where students enjoyed an afternoon filled with music, dancing, laughter, and friendship. It was wonderful to see so much joy and community spirit as students came together to celebrate this special occasion. Thank you to our staff, students, and families who helped make the day such a memorable and meaningful celebration. MOTHER'S DAY BREAKFAST & LITURGY Today we celebrated our wonderful Mother's, Grandmothers and female figures in our lives. Our liturgy highlighted, Just like Mary, the women who love us carry God’s love into our homes every day. Their hands show us what God’s tenderness looks like.
