AshWednesday

Our terrific Year Four students led a truly meaningful and thoughtful Ash Wednesday liturgy which challenged us not just to “Give up” something during Lent but to “Give”.

What can we as Christians give to those in our families and communities during this time of Lent?

This week we farewelled Mrs Rowley who has been a part of our Trinity community for over 16 years. Mrs Rowley has helped countless children discover their own gifts and believe in themselves. She has inspired people through integrity, generosity and compassion and modelling what it means to live the Gospel every day. We know that these gifts that have enriched our school will continue to bless a new community and new people. May God bless you as you continue your journey, and may the light of Christ always guide your path, just as your light has guided so many of ours.

Last Friday we celebrated Grandparent's Day alongside the Feast Day of St Anne and Joachim, the Grandparents of Jesus. Our liturgy focussed on the theme "When you thought I wasn't looking." We remembered the love our Grandparents often show in small and simple ways. As we gave thanks for our Grandparents and celebrated the faith, kindness, and wisdom they share through their everyday example. We loved celebrating the day with our Grandparents!
